Cub Scout Pack 813 Camps at Museum

Camping anyone?

Our overnight guests on October 18th was Cub Scout Pack 813 of O’Fallon. They pitched tents on the museum grounds and we had our first ever Night at the Museum Tour.  We treated them to a museum scavenger hunt.

They watched an outdoor movie and ate s’mores. Thank you to the City of O’Fallon Police Department K-9 unit for stopping by and visiting the campers. Vegas is O’Fallon’s newest K9. He is teamed with Officer Matt. The kids, parents and neighbors enjoyed meeting them.

In the morning the Cubs grabbed rakes and picked up leaves along the grounds.  Sounds like the Cubs sleep well.  Not sure about the adults.

Would you like for your group to volunteer at the museum?

Call or email us. The museum is always looking for sponsors, donors, artifacts, memorabilia, veterans stories and volunteers. For more information on the museum, contact or call 636-400-7698.
