Military Engineers Bridge Finished

Thank you to Michael Brophy who wrapped up his Eagle Scout Project this weekend at the museum.

Michael added the final touches on the Military Engineers Bridge. The Bridge is a tribute to Seabees and Combat Engineers. The sign was added to complete the project. The sign provides a brief history of each branch and tells the story of two historical figures. Marvin Shields is the only Seabee to win a Congressional Medal of Honor and James D. McRacken won the Distinguished Service Cross.

Come by and check out the grounds of the museum!

Thank you Michael and the entire Brophy Family.

The museum is located at 410 E Elm Street in O'Fallon. Our hours are Thursday and Friday 10-6:00 and Saturday from 10-4:00.

Have a group? Private tours can be scheduled on other days.
